My son turned one on Saturday. I never thought that his first year would fly by so quickly. I also never knew that parenting would be such an amazing experience. In just the last year, Woodrow has taught us so much. He has challenged us to live in the moment, to keep things simple, to enjoy every opportunity, the list goes on. Happy birthday to our special boy!
Today http://www.iheartfaces.com/ challenges photographers of all skill levels to enter their photo of a “furry face”. When was the last time you took some photos of your favorite furry face? Here is Scooter, the beagle. His nose is sometimes his own worst enemy as he catches scent of deer and squirrels. This photo was entered into the I Heart Faces photo challenge – www.iheartfaces.com
I have always lived in Central New York. As such, I very familiar with the beautiful, white fluffy precipitation that most know as snow. This December I have one question for you: Where is all the snow? Instead of photographing snow, I am faced with shielding my camera from the “April showers” that continue to fall from the sky. Enjoy!
I have always loved the detail you can find in a closeup. I enjoy capturing the various lines, shapes and textures that can be found when you closely examine God’s creation. With New York’s unusual weather as of late, I was able to capture some blooming buds as well as the usual winter foliage late last week. Enjoy these colors and textures, as New York will soon be coated with white!
I love this time of year. Cooler temperatures, Autumn leaves, occasional snow flurries. Everything just seems so fresh and new. Here are a few shots from my favorite season of the year!
